Music at the Fort

Great news! The Second FREE Band concert in Fort Trumbull, will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 6:45 p.m. It has been many summers since the Fort has echoed with the music of band concerts. This summer, the Friends of Fort Trumbull, with the assistance of Ranger-Eric Gileau, are pleased to present the second of such concerts- The Waterford Community Band.

The Conductor of the Band is Zach Thomas-a GRAMMY nominated music educator- who is the Director of Instrumental Music at Ledyard High School in Ledyard, CT. Mr. Thomas was the Music Director and Conductor of The Original Waterford Community Band.
